A written request for a “tax clearance certificate” along with the corporation’s name and Federal Employers Identification Number (FEIN) must be submitted to the Department of Revenue. Once your request is received, you will be informed of any additional information you will need to submit. In order to expedite your request you will want to check your records to see that all tax returns up to the date of withdrawal or dissolution have been filed and all taxes have been paid.
