How Do You Age A New Photo In Photoshop CS2 Tutorial?
In Photoshop CS2, it is simple to make a new photo appear as if it were very old, for creative scrapbook photos, company posters, school events or just because it is a lot of fun to do. Making a new photograph appear like an old sepia-tone picture will provide an instant romantic flair. Open a photograph in Photoshop. Click on the menu item “Window” and choose “Actions.” Choose the action named “Sepia Toning (layer)” from the list of default Photoshop actions. At the bottom of the “Actions” tab, click on the “Play” button. An automatic Photoshop action will create a new layer on top of your original photograph. This is your sepia tone, looking very much like an antique photograph, yellowed and browned by age. If you are satisfied with the results of the “Sepia Toning (layer)” action, flatten the photograph by choosing the menu item “Layer” and selecting “Flatten Image” and saving your photograph with a new file name. Photoshop will include an “Adjustment Layer” on top of the new layer.
