Nintendo Wii has been an extraordinary phenomenon, outselling the powerhouses produced by Sony and Microsoft. One of its greatest appeals is the ease of gameplay, its family-friendly nature and its terrific range of party games. Wii Sports, which comes packed with each Wii, includes bowling, which can be tough to master. With practice, however, it’s possible to bowl a strike each time you throw! Stand so that you’re oriented to the center of your Wii/television. This makes it easier to aim the ball as you release it. Proper form is important when you wish to bowl a strike. Raise your hand in the air, holding the Wiimote straight up and down. This is the ideal neutral starting position, as it places the ball at the top of its momentum curve. Press right or left on the controller to move your starting position off of the centerline.
