How Do You Make A Christmas Dessert Rum Cake?
If your thinking of a special Christmas dessert make a rum cake. This one is a yummy dessert. This is a family recipe that my grandmother gave to my mother. Try it with a little rum liquor. You will love it! Easy step one: Combine fruit and nuts with half the flour. Cream shortening and sugar. Separate eggs, add egg yolk and sugar. Easy step two: Now add the orange juice, flavoring, and rest of flour sifted with the soda. If you want to really spice things up, add a tablespoon of rum alcohol. It cooks out and adds a lot of extra flavor. This will have a delicious rum flavor and aroma. Easy step three: Add to the flour mixture.
