How Do You Make Easy Lemon Lollipops?
Lucy from the Charlie Brown comics always likes to make some kind of food and sell it to people for 5 cents. Well, here is one of Lucy’s wonderful creations, free of charge! Step 1 Stir sugar, corn syrup, and water over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Step 2 Continue to cook over higher heat, without stirring, until candy thermometer registers 305 degrees. Step 3 Remove from stove and stir in lemon extract. Step 4 Drop a tablespoon of the hot syrup at a time onto a geased cookie sheet. Step 5 Press a wooden skewer (or whatever you wish to use for a stick) into each tablespoon of syrup. Step 6 Remove lollipops when hard. Store in an airtight container.
