How Do You Play Guitar In The Key Of F-Sharp/G-Flat?
F-sharp (known by this title much more often than G-flat) is not a very common key in guitar-based music. This key can be handy, though, when transposing a song to a better key for singers. Review and memorize the names of the strings. Lowest to highest, they are E-A-D-G-B-E. Lay your index finger across all the strings on the second fret firmly. Place your middle finger on the third fret of the G string. Place your pinky on the fourth fret of the D string. Place your ring finger on the fourth fret of the A string.
