How does Hope Equity® relate to Heifer Foundation and Heifer International?
Heifer Foundation created the online sustainable giving initiative, Hope Equity, in 2007 as a tool for donors who wanted to actually build the endowments they support while receiving accurate reporting on the growth and use of their gifts. These endowments, or “Interests” as they are known on the Hope Equity Web site, provide sustainable financial support to a wide variety of Heifer International initiatives and country programs.
