How does Operation Kids Foundation decide what organizations and programs to fund?
Funding decisions are made based on a client’s desired giving plan and charitable recipients are selected in one of two ways: (1) based on the donor’s philanthropic interests, Operation Kids will identify the most efficient and effective programs serving that area of interest. (2) If the donor has already identified charities they are interested in supporting, Operation Kids will work with the selected charity to endure highest ethical and operational efficiencies and best-use of funds.
