How far in advance do I need to work on a product launch?
It often takes several weeks to get your PR campaign up and running. And by the time you’re ready to launch your product/service, longer lead publications (those with editorial deadlines 3-6 months in advance of publication) may have already passed you by. Soit’s best to start at least 3-4 months in advance to give your PR person enough time to pitch the media that you’re interested in targeting and gain publicity to coincide with the actual launch timeframe.
