How is human hair collected to make my cranial hair prosthesis?
Now that I have told you how human hair is collected, I will explain how it is used to make your piece. It can either be used from a one donor head and bundled in a ponytail (this hair has all of the cuticles running in the same direction) or gathered from brushes. Collected hairs or ponytails are then sorted according to the color, length and curl pattern. Then they can go through a de-cuticalization process.
