How is the Reactive Capability data on the Resource Asset Registration Form (RARF) completed?

All Reactive Curve data is to be entered as a Gross output. The following rules are to be used for inputting Reactive Curve data: – Must represent the full capacity of the reasonability limits; – MWs must be incremental to other relevant points on reactive capability curves; – Lead values are negative (include sign); – Lag values are positive (do not include sign); – All MW break points must have unique values; – 1st and 4th break points should extend from Unit Min Ouput (LRL) to Unit Max Output (HRL); – MW5 represents the MW output at Unity Power Factor (zero MVARs); – Lag values must be less than the Maximum Leading Operating Capability (MAXLAG); – Lead values must be less than the Maximum Lagging Operating Capability (MAXLEAD). Note: The whitepaper indicates MW1 on the Reactive Capability Curve must be the lowest seasonal LSL.
