How long are the driving lessons?

That’s entirely up to you. The advantage of a longer driving lesson, is that you can cover more, and go further. The shorter lessons work well if your time is limited. We recommend that most people have either 1 1/2 hours, or 2 hours.

The standard in the industry is 45 mins. in duration.  However for beginning students we suggest that you double or even triple lessons.  This will give you more time behind the wheel.  The more time you spend behind the wheel the faster you learn,  This will lessen the cost of learning to drive.

Txt-Drive offers driving lessons in Bedford for : 1 hour 1.5 hours 2 hours Txt-Drive finds that the most successful lessons are those that are 2 hours long. Two hour lessons provide you with excellent value for money as it means less travelling for the instructor & therefore less petrol used (with the savings passed onto you!). You will also be able to cover more of the syllabus in a 2 hour compared to a 1 hour lesson. This is especially noticeable when covering topics such as the reversing/parking manoeuvres or the dual carridgeway. With a 1 hour lesson, by the time the topic briefing has been explained & we have travelled to the relevent area (dual carridgeway or car park) you will only have a short period of time to actually practise the manoeuvre or driving on the dual carridgeway. Then it will be time to head back home as the hour will be up! With a 2 hour lesson, you will have time to go over the briefing & have alot more time to actually practise whilst it is fresh in you mind!
