In households with video game consoles and children aged 5-17 90% of girls play video games (and 95% of boys). On average girls play once a week while boys play 2-3 times a week. In households where parents dont play video games themselves parents are significantly more likely to be uncomfortable with the games their children play (29% uncomfortable compared to 12% among video playing parents).
