I actually got married in high school. Lasted a whole whooping 6 months but it was fun to call myself Mrs. But everyone is different. I have a friend who has been with her high school sweetheart for years. They’re soul matess.

My sister and her husband have been together since they were 13. 35 years !!!!! It happens, but not often. People grow, mature, and change. Sometimes they grow apart.

alot of people like to think they will be with there high school sweetheart forever an get married an what not but it never works like i was with a guy from when i was 13 till i was 18 we was talkin about how he was gonna ask me to marry me on my 18th birthday an when push came to shove we split up an we was like crazy in love but we didnt talk or see eachother or run into eachother for 4 years he got ahold of me january of this year an in 4 years he became a heroin addict and has a kid now an treated me like dirt on his shoes witch i didnt care cuz i saw a whole diff side of him an i mean what do ya expect after 4 years what im sayn is people change an you get over them fast theres great people out there if its mean to be then it will be if not then sorry but life goes on you will find something better but good luck i hope it all works dont get too fresked out of anything cuz you will push him away or lose him just be you dont stress out

Just don’t think about that. If you guys are truly happy, then it will work out. I’m dating a guy and we are high school sweet hearts…and he want’s to marry me when we graduate…so keep your head up, and be happy with your guy.

I don’t know anybody who has. You’re 16, and even though you may be as tall as you’re going to get, your body and brain is still going through may changes. You may have different or new opinions when you’re twenty and older. It’s very common for high-school sweethearts to drift apart.
