The NEA is distributing $30 million in direct Recovery grants. Eligibility was restricted to previous NEA direct award recipients from the past 4 years; the postmark deadline was April 2, 2009. Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) is also offering stimulus funding grants for arts organizations in the Western region. (See questions 18-21). We highly recommend that if eligible, you apply for as many recovery grants as you can. However, your organization may receive a stimulus grant from only one source. If your organization is offered more than one grant, you may choose the award that would be most beneficial for your organization to accept.
