How much paint to buy for just walls 3 bedroom 2 bath house. 3 different colors.?
Part of the quantity is going to depend on the colors you choose. I painted my master bedroom & bath burgandy. It took 1 1/2 gallon of primer & the same in paint. My daughter’s room is lavender. It took 1 gallon plus 1 of the glaze we used to faux finish. Another factor is going to be room size. Take your room measurements to Home Depot or Lowes. They are good at helping figure out how much paint you need based on room size & color. If you are going darker, use a tinted primer. It is cheaper than paint & will make the paint go farther.
