How old was Lennox in Macbeth?
. William Shakespeare [Baptized April 26, 1564-April 23, 1616] gave no information in that regard. But the impression may have been given that King Duncan I was in an older, fatherly age group; and that Macbeth, the king’s sons, and Banquo were more or less in a younger, more filial generation. In such a scenario, it still wasn’t clear where noblemen such as Lennox fit. But Lennox appeared to take a more advisorly than a fighting role. So he may have been intermediate in age between the King and the King’s sons.
