Dandruff is caused by a fungus. Everyone has it! It’s a naturally occurring fungus of the scalp but the severity varies from person to person, so if you do use a dandruff shampoo make sure you use it often or as directed. Try using Neutrogena T-Gel (its really strong). Try putting it on your scalp for a few minutes before scrubbing, then rinse & repeat. You may also need a hydrating/moisturizing shampoo to replenish some of the moisture in your hair. And since your hair is short try using the dandruff shampoo every other day. And if that doesn’t help then you should see a dermatologist.
