How will the new locals be formed?
Deciding on the structure of our new, stronger local unions is also a democratic process! Members will have input every step of the way – including on what our new locals’ vision, structure, and bylaws will be. We’ll hold membership meetings to discuss all of these issues to get members’ input. Then the provisional leadership at each new local will propose a structure and bylaws based on members’ input. Members will have the final say by voting on the new bylaws and officers.
