How would you convince an adult that learning to swim is a good idea?

If I do not know how to swim, how will I save my child when she is drowning?

Who is going to take care of my family if I have drowned, because I did not take the time to learn how to swim?

Because I did not fight the fear!?

I almost drowned as an elementary school child when a boy pushed me into the deep end of a pool. I went straight to the bottom.

My father jumped into the pool and saved me

Dad told me to never go near the water again (?)

I fought many years ago to overcome my fear of the water. I enrolled in a college swimming class and dropped out twice due to FEAR.

A wonderful friend enrolled me in a private swimming course.

Afterwards, I returned to the college swimming course for third time to successfully complete the curriculum, jumping into 12 feet of water and praying that I would come up to the surface.

You know what, I did.

If I can do it, so can you!

Best wishes!

Well just imagine yourself 10 feet from your boat in the ocean, meanwhile a shark 20 feet away speeding up toward you…

Well, I believe it is obvious that swimming is an activity that can be enjoyed by everyone and it’s suitable for any age. Still if you need a bit more convincing to pull your swimsuit on and hit the water, here are some of the reasons why swimming is good for your health https://1box.site/sports-and-recreation/why-swimming-is-good-for-your-health Hope it can help
