I did not take BUS 417 at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, but took a similar course elsewhere. Can I be exempted from taking Taxation of Corporations & Partnerships?

No. If you have not taken BUS 417 for credit at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (with a Grade of C or higher), then you MUST take GSA 540 at Cal Poly.
