Although Beta-1,3/1,6-glucan is derived from Baker’s yeast, if properly processed, it is a pure isolate containing no harmful yeast proteins that would cause an allergic reaction or aggravate any existing yeast allergic condition. Properly processed Beta glucan has even been used in treating Candida.
