Im a LEUT posted to a LCDRs position, am I entitled to the payment of HDA for the period of that posting?
Yes, you are entitled to the payment of HDA for the period of the posting as the posting authority constitutes the direction for the payment of HDA. However, you must be deemed competent for the performance of the duties in the higher position. If you are deemed to be incompetent for any reason and therefore would be unable to perform all the duties of the position, the posting authority should have made known to you.
