(Tuscaloosa County) No license is required by State or County. However, if you are sodding, planting bushes, trees, or moving dirt, you will need a contractor’s license. (City of Tuscaloosa and Northport) Both cities require a business license if you are located, or if you are performing services in the City or Police Jurisdiction.
