depends on what purpose the definition is for. even so, most everyone says it is not a drug only because it is alcohol. medically speaking, a person could say its a drug and wouldnt get too much of an argument, being that is can be addictive and can affect you psychologically and physically. drugs, by definition, are used to medicate some ailment, by this definition alcohol can be a drug when its used to lessen pain.
