“Hello. My name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg in Miami, Florida with Miami Dog Training. In this clip, we’re going to talk about if aspirin is safe for dogs. And yes, a buffered aspirin, preferably, is safe for dogs. You don’t want to really give him Tylenol, Ibuprofens, or anything like that which can be dangerous. But aspirin is a safe alternative. You can even use a, can even use some of the powdered aspirin. Now aspirins, your typical aspirin, can be used. You can use your generic brand that the, at your local pharmacy or you can go to your vet and get dog aspirins. Or you can go on line or catalogs, like Fosters and Smith, and get those kind of things as well and they’re usually bigger bottles. But for the most part, the aspirins, they break fevers, they reduce swelling and they reduce pain. Even if the dog is, you know, is limping slightly, if its just needs a little relief, it’s a good thing to give it.
