Is Emerald Forest Xylitol organic?
: Our xylitol comes from corn cobs, that were grown pesticide free, and from a non-GMO source. The farmers having been growing their corn in this manner for hundreds of years without change. Even though this would be considered organic farming, the cost of becoming organic certified just for the corn cob, is prohibitive to the farmer. Therefore we do not call our xyltiol “certified organic”.
