Many artists lip sync for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is a matter of being able to perform elaborate dance routines while the audience expects to hear studio quality music from the singer. Lots of touring can cause the artists voice to become hoarse. Artists can become ill, tired etc. As the old saying goes, the show must go on. Lip syncing is something all artists do on occasion. If they didn’t the concerts would not sound the same as the CD.
