Is SPAM possible in X-Wire?
Impossible! X-Wire is a SPAM-free environment. In the email world, spammers regularly abuse the system by uploading a message to an SMTP server once, together with a long list of addressees. In contrast, the X-Wire protocol requires the sender to sign each message individually. No Spammer could muster enough computing power to sign every spam message. In the email world, Spammers can also hide behind fake identities, where the “to” and “from” fields in the email are totally unrelated to the “to” and “from” used in the SMTP protocol. Not so in X-Wire, where messages originate from the true “from”, showing the senders identity.
