Yes, you may be awarded the BEng(Hons) first class, upper second class, lower second class or third class depending upon the grades achieved in your individual courses. For the purpose of classifying your degree, 240 credit points from your best grades on specified Open University courses (in Technology, Mathematics & Computing or Science), at Level 2 or higher, are used. Of these at least 90 points must be from courses that start with a T. Also, at least 120 points must be from courses at Level 3, including the compulsory 30-point Level 3 project course (whether or not it is among your best Level 3 grades). T397 is not included in the classification scheme.
