Is the Master of Interdisciplinary Studies a respected degree?
Although only in existence since the mid-nineties, the MISP has already been attained by 20 students. At least one of those has gone on to a Ph.D. program. The other students have received promotions, raises, and a host of rewards that follow from such an advanced degree. The interdisciplinary approach to graduate higher education is in the vanguard of transformations that are beginning to occur in universities today to enable its students to better deal with an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
