• Yes. The grace period for overdue books is 3 days. After that, each item is charged 50 cents per day. If a book is recalled, however, there is no grace period and fines accrue at a rate of 50 cents per day for three days and $1 dollar a day after that. There is NO grace period for Reserve material or overdue sound and video recordings.
