My research project involves working with live vertebrates (including human subjects). Is this allowed?
Research projects involving live vertebrates are allowed only under the following conditions: • The project is not behavioral science. • The research must be approved by an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) or Institutional Review Board (IRB); a high school IRB is not permitted. • The research must be conducted in a registered institution or laboratory.
