Ovulation Test Is not Detecting LH Surge????
First of all, you have an LH surge a day or two before you ovulate. If you started testing right after you period ended, it is probably not time for you to ovulate yet. How long is your cycle? If you have a normal 28 day cycle, then you would probably ovulate around days 13-15. However, most women do not have a perfect 28 day cycle. I have a 45 day cycle and I ovulate on cycle day 31. Anyway, I would try to keep track of how long my cycles are. Usually you need to start using OPK’s 16 – 14 days before you period is to start again. This should allow you to catch your ovulation time. Make sure to check into BBT. This could help you keep up with your ovulation and to make sure you actually are ovulating. Some women could have a lh surge, but actually never reach a peak. If your lh surge does not peak, this will cause you not to ovulate. I recommend you purchasing the book Taking Control of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. This will explain all about charting, BBT and so on.
