Starting a blog, would love to make money from it?
Hey there – I’ve actually made a little bit of money off of my blog. There a few different ways to go about it. First of all, focus on building readership and getting subscribers. Having a “subscribe” button is critical. Think about using aweber.com for subscriber management. Once you’ve built up some traffic you can: 1)Throw up some Google Ad-sense ads. They look kind of crappy, but if you have enough traffic, you can make some cash this way. 2)Join a blog network and put up some more relevant, nicer looking ads that pay a little better for each click through. 3)Create an information product like an e-book, and sell it to your subscriber list. Check out rockyourday.com for tips on this. I’ve used all three of these. Its a long road, and it’ll probably take a year or more to really build your traffic, but it is possible to make a living at it. Just don’t think that it’s going to be easy, or a method of getting rich quick.
