The future of scrapbooking?

Scrapbooking in the United States and Australia is a multi-million dollar business and the South African scrapbooking market is following in its footsteps. Scrapbooking is not just a fad! It is here to stay and growing daily. Many new scrapbooking shops are opening in South Africa on a weekly basis and many of the smaller shops are closing as well. Most of the stationery shops are also supplying scrapbooking products. This is not an easy business. You have to always keep up with the latest products and make sure you have sufficient stock, but at the same time make sure that no stock sits on the shelves for long periods. Products change all the time, so you need at least three months cash flow to keep going because of your ordering. Is the market becoming saturated? Only time will tell. The smaller USA retail scrapbooking shops are already feeling the pressure and feel that the market is becoming over catered for, especially now that the larger stationery and super stores are competing
