Yes and No, things like this happen, unfortunately, these were not well trained personnel, they had only recently converted to an MP unit, if I am not mistaken, and regardless, they all received training on the Geneva Convention and the Law of War, which describe our duties in the treatment of prisoners, and how it came about is a disgrace to the whistle blowers, they were substandard performers that were partaking in the BS too, and hen tried to use that, and making a documentary on HBO was a total disgrace to our country and they should have had a little pride left and not agree to it, But they needed the money, so sell you country out for a few bucks, totally Unamerican in my eyes, so Yes and No, only time will tell the repercussions from this in the United States Service.
