Was the Zulu tribe apart of the Transatlantic Slave trade?

0

The Zulu’s migrated to South Africa in the 16th century, and few if any Zulu’s were ever taken away in slave ships during the Atlantic Slave Trade. A lot had to do with their location AND the fact that they were a very war-like society. So, they were farther away from the typical slave tribe and not really a people you wanted to screw with, to put it bluntly. The Zulu actually sought ultimate sole control of Africa. These guys would RUN 50 miles TO a battle, THEN fight….. and win. These people fought the British in battle! In fact, the Zulus would captured and SELL captives themselves. The selling / trading of war prisoners amongst African tribes was common practice.
