What alcoholic beverages do NOT contain Yeast?

0

While not all alcoholic beverages contain yeast at the time of consumption, yeast is a vital part of the processing of making alcohol. It is neccessary to have yeast in order to convert the starches and sugars into ethyl alcohol. Any distilled spirit should not contain yeast due to the fact that almost all of the solids (including the yeast) get left behind during distillation. I would suggest Bourbon (since I’m from Kentucky) but Vodka and Rum are also good choices. If your looking for a drink that’s toned down (and maybe carbonated like beer) then try getting a mixed drink with club soda added!
