The police package (9C1) wipers are designed with a small “wing” in them that prevents them from lifting off of the windows at high speeds. This is a popular add-on item for the Impala. The GM part number is 10283602). Oddly, the 9C1 wipers are avalaible at a much discounted price in Canada. They can be ordered via any of the Canadian dealers for about $8.40 (cdn) each, instead of about $25 each in US. Cory, at Dueck Chevrolet on Marine, can help with this deal.
