Spaying or neutering your dog is an important part of responsible pet ownership. The benefits extend far beyond population control. As a result of the procedure your puppy will be healthier, friendlier and a more attentive pet. Spayed and neutered dogs also have a reduced risk of certain infections, tumours and cancers. They’re also a lot easier to train and less likely to fight with other dogs. Neutering is also an important safety precaution as it may help prevent your puppy/dog from roaming and possibly running away. Unneutered males that are not able to mate experience frustration, which can lead to aggression. Unspayed females attract unwanted attention every six months from roaming unneutered males. • How many litters per year do you have?
