What are the differences between jumper valve and ceramic disc type tapware?
The loose jumper valve assembly has been traditionally supplied in Australia, mostly with a rising spindle headwork. Maintenance is usually related to jumper valve replacement and spindle “O” ring lubrication. Ceramic disc tapware is available with , or turn non-rising headwork’s and uses disc components in lieu of a jumper valve. This feature provides the benefits of a light, easy action operation with minimal maintenance required. Both options are available on most of Enware’s tapware. It is largely personal preference, though if located in an area with harsh water conditions then jumper valve may be the preferred option.
