What are the duties of a Chief Bridesmaid?
The chief bridesmaid usually has a few responsibilities, but it also depends on what your bride wants. Organising the hen night is a great thing to do, but make it clear to your bride that you are there for anything else she wants. If she wants an extra pair of hands putting invites in envelopes, then it could be you! As a bridesmaid you may also decide together that you want to go dress shopping together. She will prob want you in a dress that complements hers, so you may go and look for yours and hers together. From my experience the duties on the day are basically just making sure that your bride wants for nothing, and it will partly depend on what your friend wants. For example, I helped the bride get dressed (those gowns are not easy on their own you know!) and I hid her when she wanted a sneaky cigarette just before the ceremony!
