What are the traffic restrictions on hwy 189 to sequoia national park?
There are no traffic restrictions coming into Sequoia National Park. However, in Fresno on HWY 180 into Kings Canyon National Park there is a slight detour that lasts about a mile around a section of the Hwy that is being updated to be included in a new extension of the freeway section. Then inside Sequoia National Park there is a road delay between Lodgepole and Grant Grove that restricts traffic for upwards of 30 minutes while a section of the road is being redone.
