What Are the Treatments for Damage to the Ulnar Nerve?
Ulnar nerve damage, or entrapment, occurs when the ulnar nerve in the arm becomes compressed and the nerve does not function normally, states the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, or AAOS. The ulnar nerve runs from the armpit and along the inner arm to the fourth and fifth fingers. The ulnar nerve can be damaged from a variety of conditions, therefore medical treatment should be sought for persistent numbness or tingling along the ulnar nerve.
