Not knowing if you are harvesting water or whats in it I’m guessing your harvesting FROM the water and that is different for everything you harvest. Cranberries that we raise here are harvested with “combs” either hand held or machine operated. A comb is used to strip berries from the plant without damage to that plant. In aquaculture or in this case sea farming, when harvesting our clams from the farm, or in the wild, we use “bull rakes” which are a heavy toothed steel basket on a handle that is eased threw the bottom to collect shellfish by the bushel. Other soft shelled clams get pump harvested by blasting the bottom from around the clam and then collecting them. Oysters have a different tool which is like a long pair of pivoted handles (like scissors but they have narrow baskets not sharp edges).
