Iowa Hawk-I is a program that provides health care coverage for those who make too much money to qualify for Medicaid, but not enough to buy health insurance. The program covers children ages 0-18. You must be a resident of Iowa to qualify. Cost of the program depends on income but will not exceed $20 per family. The program will cover visits to the doctor, hospital admissions, as well as visits to the dentist and eye doctor. There is a short application to complete and proof of income is required.
