What do ASHI home inspectors inspect?
ASHI inspectors observe the homes components and systems, which include: the homes structural components, exteriors, roofing, plumbing system, electrical system, heating system, central air conditioning system, interior components and insulation and ventilation systems and built in kitchen appliances. When the number of components that comprise each area of the home that the ASHI inspector is trained to observe, the number of observations within a complete home inspection may range into the thousands. Of course only observations that are note worthy are documented by the inspector. • Do ASHI inspectors address environmental concerns? Some ASHI inspectors offer additional inspection services in addition to the home inspection for additional fees.
