What do the LED lights next to each drive bay on Drobo indicate?
The light next to each of Drobo’s drive bays behaves similar to the drive bay lights on DroboPro: Green: No action required, all drives are healthy Solid Orange: Replace this drive with a larger drive soon, Drobo is running out of space. Blinking Orange and Green: Don’t remove these drives; Drobo is working to protect your data. Solid Red: Replace this drive with a larger drive immediately, Drobo is critically low on space. Blinking Red: Replace this drive immediately, this drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Note: When only a single disk is present in Drobo, there will be a red LED lit on the firstt empty slot, starting from the top, to indicate that Drobo is not safe from a drive failure.
