What documentation is available?
Each application has its own help page: http://pkp.sfu.ca/ojs_documentation http://pkp.sfu.ca/ocs_documentation http://pkp.sfu.ca/harvester_documentation OJS has the most extensive amount of documentation, and a fair amount of it is applicable to either or both OCS and the PKP Harvester; for example, developers interested in any of the three applications would find the Technical Reference on the OJS documentation page helpful. You can also find video tutorials at http://pkp.sfu.ca/tutorials.
PostgreSQL includes extensive documentation, including a large manual, manual pages, and some test examples. See the /doc directory. You can also browse the manuals online at http://www.postgresql.org/docs. There are a number of PostgreSQL books available for purchase; two of them are also available online. A list of books can be found at http://www.postgresql.org/docs/books/. One of the most popular ones is the one by Korry & Susan Douglas. There is also a collection of PostgreSQL technical articles on the wiki. The command line client program psql has some \d commands to show information about types, operators, functions, aggregates, etc. – use \? to display the available commands.
All system-level documentation is provided to the GSA MSO. Agencies may contact the GSA MSO to obtain access to this documentation. Back To Top GSA and EDS have mentioned that it is possible to swap out GSA certificates stored on PIV cards with Agency certificates. Please confirm that this is possible. The solution offered through the GSA MSO does provide the capability to perform post issuance updates of certificates. This functionality allows the users to update their certificates through either an attended or an unattended mode. If Agencies want to “swap out” GSA certificates with their own certificates, they will have to work with the GSA MSO to understand and develop specific requirements.
HylaFAX™ comes with extensive documentation in two forms: this HTML-based documentation that is designed for on-line use and general guidance, and a complete set of UNIX manual pages that contain reference information in a more terse but precise format. The HTML documentation contains links to the manual pages providing a complete hypertext connection between the two forms of documentation. The HylaFAX documentation is intended to support users of binary distributions; it is complete enough that access to the source code is not needed.
